The fabric is ordered!!

Well, today we had a productive day. My mom and Chip came down and we figured out the crib bedding layout and what all we needed to order for fabric!! I'm so excited!! The best part of it all is that to purchase the crib set from the website would cost us $295.00, but to order the exact same fabric (I know b/c I order swatches from the website) from a different site, only cost $66.31!!!! Plus, it will be made with love by Grandma Marlene!!! What more could you ask for?! I'm really excited now!! We are on a roll!! Oh, and thanks Chip for letting us borrow your muscles and help Curt carry the heavy desk down to the basement!! I needed an upgrade.

Well, yet another pregnancy side effect has come into play for me folks!! Today, I took a trip to Kohl's and moved up a step on the ladder of cup sizes. I am officially a D cup, WTF!!! Let's hope this is the only upgrade we need throughout pregnancy!

My Garden

So this spring my hubby and I put in my first flower garden at the new house. I think I am really getting the knack for this stuff, and I love looking out my window at it. In fact, Curt makes fun of me at dinner b/c I sit and stare at it from my spot at the table. But who can blame me for being proud of my own back breaking work?! Slowly Decorating

Now that we are coming up on living in our new house for a year, I figure I might as well start truly decorating the house. It's hard b/c I don't want to put holes in the walls to later decide I want something totally different. It all started by me 'cleaning' the basement. I knew I needed to get the crap in the basement organized and sorted so that we could move our 'office' downstairs to prepare the nursery for baby. Once I realized how much stuff I could be putting on the walls, I decided it's time to get my act together. After all, I am unemployed people! :) So here are the few hangings I have done recently.

Weekend Excitement

So I had my first official week of being unemployed and I found myself super bored! I am totally the kid that complains on the second day of summer that they are bored! I think I did enough moping and sitting around that I probably will be more active and get things done that I keep saying I have to do. I do have a baby to prep for!

So after my long week of boredom, I am extremely excited for our good friends Ben and Yasmin's wedding!! It will be like a college reunion, only I won't be doing kegs stands with everyone. But I will be a darn good photographer since I won't be too wasted to take pictures!! Maybe Karl will split his pants at this wedding too?!

After an exciting weekend of reuniting with friends, I will have to wait a few long days until we finally get to find out the sex of our baby. God I hope it cooperates with us and let's us see what our precious baby is!! Maybe once I know what baby is, I can actually start getting excited about planning for baby!!

Maybe now that I'm unemployed I can start blogging again. Ain't got shit else to do!!
